These are two very different types of broth.
When I learned about the GAPS diet (Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome) I heard that broth was one of the mainstays of the diet. Broth everyday. Broth for breakfast. Broth for lunch. Broth for dinner. Broth in-between.
My mind reeled at the amount of cooking I was going to have to do to cook down all the bones to make that broth! I would have to buy multiple crock pots and keep my stove going non-stop!
