Spring Salad

Now that the weather is hotter I have been craving salad almost everyday.  After many years of eating real foods my body knows when it’s time to start eating more raw foods, smoothies and juices, and also when it wants soups, stews and warming foods like casseroles and more meat (in the fall and winter months).

Robert and I made this spring salad a few nights ago and we both thought is was really good.  So, I’m happy to share this simple (but surprisingly tasty!) recipe with all of you.

Spring Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 medium radishes
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 lime
  • high quality olive oil
  • aged balsamic vinegar
  • refrigerated whole hemp seeds

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut veggies into big chunks.
  2. Liberally add lime, olive oil and a healthy dash of balsamic vinegar
  3. Sprinkle with hemp seeds and enjoy!
